DEMO - Equine Therapy for Counseling Professionals

This demo is to inform practicing counselors about the use of equine therpy as an option for referral and expansion of client care. Attendees will learn about the intersection of horse and patient(s), and how the equine therapy environment can create breakthroughs and meaningful connections to solve personal challenges.

All work is done on the ground with the horses unhindered and allowed to interact with clients as they wish. This creates the space for clients to reflect, project, and make deep connections.

Demos are conducted rain, snow, or shine on a working farm with open outdoor fields and an open barn. Please check the weather and dress appropriately for the elements, including proper footwear. Bathroom on site.
